100 MIGMIGS
Group Exhibition / Public Project, 100 Days Project 2012
20 April - 28 July 2012
This is a public project that I participated in during mid-2012. For 100 days participants had to repeat a design operation. The ‘operation’ must be repeated in some creative form every day, and every iteration must be documented for an eventual presentation. The medium was open.
For 100 days I choose to draw a ‘migmig’.
A ‘migmig’ is what I call my style of drawing people. This is a term I have created and it translates to “me me” in Danish; as I first drew myself in this style.
The name was inspired by Max Ernst’s term ‘loplop’, meaning a bird-like creature.
I documented my project @ 100migmigs.tumblr.com
The project was exhibited on 28 July 2012 at The Biz Dojo Maker Space in Auckland, NZ.
